I am dedicated to providing a diverse Penny Pincher’s website that addresses many aspects of everyday Kansans lives. Saving a little money here and a little there can make a real difference when trying to make ends meet.

As a small business owner who has had to meet payroll and survive some pretty tough economic times I know the value of making every penny count. Consumers can find valuable information they need to help save money on groceries, gas and traveling, home energy, health care, college tuition, back-to-school savings and more.   • Kansas Health Insurance Association - plan to provide health care benefits for Kansas residents who are unable to purchase health insurance.
  • Kansas HealthWave – HealthWave is a program similar the Medicaid created for uninsured children, ages 0 - 19, living in households with income levels at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.
  • Resource for eating healthy and being happy in Kansas
  • KDHE Children and Families Resources - Promotes optimal health for Kansas women and infants, children and adolescents through systems development activities and grants to local communities.
  • Veterans Health Administration - The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) provides a broad spectrum of medical, surgical, and rehabilitative care to its customers. Our goal is to share information about these benefits and services to make it as easy as possible for you to receive the care you need.
  • HealthCareCoach – A project of the National Health Law Program (NHeLP), a nonprofit legal organization. For more than 30 years, NHeLP has worked to improve access to quality health care, educate consumers and their legal rights and provide information and policy advocacy.
