The State Treasurer's Office has teamed up with Visa, Inc. and the NFL to help teach financial concepts with Financial Football, a fast-paced interactive game that engages students while teaching them money management skills. Treasurer LaTurner has met with high schools students to share this exciting game, accompanied most recently by Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
Financial Football is available free of cost to every Kansas middle school or high school. The game is available on DVD, by request to the State Treasurer's Office, or online at http://kansas.financialfootball.com/games/trainingcamp/ff/play/. Treasurer LaTurner recognizes the importance of supporting students in becoming educated consumers capable of making responsible financial decisions in the future and hopes all Kansas middle schools and high schools will take part in this program.
